I am so excited to have author Cynthia Gentry on Better Sex Radio this Wednesday at 11 a.m. Pacific. Cynthia is the author of "What Women Really Want In Bed" and I am very excited to interview her about her book. I just LOVED her chapter on foreplay and am going to "steal" a few excerpts from her book for you here to give you a little taste of what we will be talking about on Better Sex Radio. "If you love sending your woman into a state of crazy desire before you do the deed" then this book is for you. Sure, everyone loves a quick ONCE IN AWHILE. There is a place and a time for a quickie. And I love this quote from her book, too. "Every interaction is foreplay" and that quote is credited to someone named Chole.

Foreplay for women is NOT optional. Remember, for women, it's often going to take our brain about 10 - 15 minutes to get in the moment. We just don't CLICK OVER like men seem to be able to. We are not quite as visually stimulated as men are. Just seeing a penis or his nipples does not instantly get us going like flashing a nipple or showing a little butt cleavage can do for a man.

I love this quote from Cynthia's book: " You gotta warm up the pan before you put the meat in." "Sure, you could slap your sausage in a cold skillet, but the cooking process is going to take a lot longer." And, if we don't get our foreplay, then to women it feels like the act is really just more for the male partner. Foreplay and sex are not separate to us. It's a part of the whole process. And, most women do not ORGASM without the foreplay.

I always like to coach men that if they want to see a VERY dirty, naughty lover in their bed... warm her up with some forepaly. Men always say they want "vacation" sex or they want their wife to act like they do when they are on vacation. My guess is that on vacation, there is some mood setting and lots of foreplay. You can't get a wild porn star in your bed unless you INVEST the time and energy into the "before" play.

Foreplay cannot be rushed? And, what in the heck is the hurry? It's like traveling with men. They are always in such a hurry to get to the final destination instead of pulling over to see all of the historical landmarks, fruit stands and the special vista spots. SLOW DOWN. It's about the journey. Stop to see the views and enjoy all of the landmarks!

Most women, when asked, say they would like 20 minutes of foreplay. 10 minutes is the very minimum. So, as Cynthia's books says - "Dont Rush The Foreplay." "Foreplay is as vital to women as control of the televistion remote is for guys." When Cynthia and her team interviewed women about foreplay they said over and over again "Longer is better", "slow down, take your time", "it's impossible to spend too much time on foreplay" and on and on.

Set the mood, slow down, enjoy the seduction, light a candle, give compliments, make her feel safe and turned on enough to be that PORN STAR you want in your bed. "We want the romance, but we also want some raunchy sex" according to "Heather, 25, Executive Assistant.

A friend of mine (who is NOT fat) wrote this fabulous blog that "Sexy Comes in All Sizes"http://aspirelifecoaching.org/blog/2009/05/sexy-comes-in-all-sizes/Susan is an amazing woman, life coach and all around inspirational woman. Her blog reminded me of when I owned an Adult Store where we sold lingerie. I noticed two things when I would help women try on lingerie.

First of all, thin women are SO HARD on themselves and have so much negative SELF TALK around their bodies. Being a PLUS SIZED woman myself, I always thought it was so strange that they were so hard on themselves when they had obviously hit that "media goal" of being a size 6.When larger women would come into our store, they were way more "in reality" about where they were and how they looked and were focused on finding a style of lingerie that flattered their bodies.

They had this attitude of "oh well, I want to surprise my lover and I am a size 18" and were just more matter of fact about it while we searched for the perfect piece of lingerie for their ample bosom or ample bottom - or both.It also reminded me how very petite women and very thin women sometimes have as much or more difficulty finding cute clothes or lingerie as their plus sized or tall sisters have. It's the same PROBLEM just different ends of the spectrum.She also reminded me how strongly I feel about this issue. My business is all about helping women and couples to have BETTER SEX.

And, guess what? Some men PREFER saggy breasts, big butts, or a little pooch around the tummy. Granted, some men are into toned and sculpted - but my point is that if there are equal amount of men that love BIG HUGE breasts as there are men who love ITTY BITTY breasts, that that would hold true on body size preferences, too. (If you don't believe me, google all of the pay sites out there dedicated to ENORMOUS BREASTS and the pay sites dedicated to the ITTY BITTY TITTY COMMITTEE. There are thousands and thousands of both kinds.)

Confidence is what REALLY turns people on and just OWN IT ladies. Own who you are right now and enjoy life and all the pleasures that your body can bring - size 2 or size 22!
Can you tell I feel strongly about this issue? I am a size 22 and I am here to ENJOY who I am now at this very moment - not who the media tells me I should be. Of course, this has been a life long battle for me as I have been overweight since about the 4th grade. Sometimes I get wrapped up in the way the magazines depict women and celebrities, but then I remind myself I AM SEXY and I deserve to love and be loved just like anyone else!I believe all women (all people) are sexy in their own way and we just need to realize all of our beauty and potential.

When we do that, then we will all HAVE BETTER SEX! Let go of your body image hangups and just let yourself enjoy every thing you can - even if you are SUPER SKINNY or SUPER FAT. Like I said above, Sieze the Day ladies!

I'm glad that women are starting to realize that they don't need to be super skinny because frankly it's getting annoying. I knew a girl in high school who was absolutely gorgeous inside and out but she felt she needed to lose weight. The girl was just under 6 feet tall and couldn't have weighed more than like 120-130 pounds. It was a little saddening.
If the woman likes herself, guys will notice and it'll be really hard for her to keep guys away (I've got another friend who's in that situation).Report Abuse

I am sooooo happy to read this post. As a wedding & lifestyle photographer (www.marianamaya.com) I capture many sized women. 99.5% of the time when they see their pictures they comment on how happy, sexy & in love they look. Every now and then I do get a comment of "ugh I'm fat" to which I ask .."what does your boyfriend/husband/kids/ family/ friends think of your pictures?" and I watch as a big smile speads across their face as they reply "Oh they love them"
Regardless of your size you should always try to be happy with who you are, and realize you are loved for the person you are and not your looks. After all looks fade.

You are so right on with this post!
In retrospect, I spent my 20’s beating up on myself for not looking ‘right’(I was a size 8) In my 30’s I became unhealthily obsessed with looking ‘perfect’ - enter the eating disorder - and down to a size 4.
Now I’m 40-ish, beat the eating disorder and looking back, thinking: God how I WISH I could have the body now that I had then. You know, back then when I was complaining about it.
Now back to a size 8 - and things aren’t quite as firm as they used to be and you know what? That’s just fine. My legs propel me through marathons, and are in training to bounce a grandchild on them. They’re good legs. My breast nourished children. They’re good breasts. My belly carried those kids and hid their crying faces against it to sheild them from the world for a moment. It’s a good belly. My round behind proudly proclaims my middle-eastern heritage (and thank you Kim Kardashian for making that ‘vogue) It’s a good butt.
I am not model thin. But I am strong, healthy and energetic. And what’s sexier than that?

5 Ways to Make a B.J. More Efficient

Ok, I know - men NEVER want to hear the words "B.J. and efficient" together in once sentence.
But, honestly guys, we know some of you NEVER get one. So, these tips are for those women who just HATE to give the B.J. and rarely or even NEVER give one.

We do Pleasure Parties all over the Bay Area and I have personally facilitated about 850 pleasure parties myself. When we are in the comfort of our customers homes and we finish up our presentation, we allow the hostesses friends to come into the bedroom where we have our store set up and shop one person at a time. Believe me, once we close that door and we are 1 on 1 with our customers, we hear it ALL.We hear from women who do not give B.J.'s because they do not like the way the penis and "schweaty balls" smell or taste. We hear from women who are worried about "swallowing."

We hear women complain that it takes too long and their jaw gets tired. We hear it ALL!So, here are our "5 Tips for Making a B.J." more efficient. Gentlemen, I am pretty sure that if it came down to NO B.J. or an efficient one, you would choose the efficient kind, right?

1. Start the B.J. off early in the day by texting or emailing him that you are going to give him one that day. PRIME the PUMP so to speak, ladies. The more anticipation you can build the more exciited he is going to be that night.

2. If you REALLY do not like the way the penis smells, get him in the shower first or even shower with him. Now, I realize if you have small kids that this isn't a possiblity really, so send him in there to make everything nice and clean. More priming of the pump. (You can also put some Kama Sutra Honey Dust and dust his testicles and penis with it to make it smell better and taste better.)

3. For those of you who are REALLY skittish about ejaculate, you can also use a flavored condom and give a "strawberry" or "coconut" B.J. The flavored condoms taste good. I know you are thinking how GROSS condoms taste and normally that is true. But, the flavored condoms are designed specifically for oral sex.

4. Using a small, light vibrator on the testicles or under the testicles can also help to make the B.J. very efficient. There are lots of stripper poles designed for your home which are called Portable Stripper Poles. There are a few things you should know before you buy a Stripper Pole and I have outlined some tips for you here. My most important piece of advice is to MEASURE your cieling befor you buy your home stripper pole. And, even though they are called PORTABLE STRIPPER POLES...what the manufacturere means is that you can put it up and take it down quickly. But, if you want to do inversions and really give it a work out, you should install the HARDWARE in your cieling or floor.

1. Most ceilings seem to be about 8' tall (or 96 inches). Of course, if you live in an apartment or a condo or if your house is older, you should measure. Oprah's 10 Second Kiss Idea

Oprah had Dr. Berman on her show today and they did a whole entire hour about women's orgasms and sexual dysfunction! I WAS SO INSPIRED I watched it twice and was so excited to write this newsletter and blog in case you did not see the episode! I love and respect Oprah, but I am not normally an Oprah zealot like some of you. Today I am convert! She and Dr. Berman did alot to help alot of women out there.

This blog is going to be an experiment in "A Little Help from my Friends" theory. I am going to give you some ideas here about how to keep your romantic life (a polite way to say sex life) alive while the financial news brings us all down.

I am going to give you some ideas here based on my own personal ideas and some fun ideas from our customers. One of the best things about doing Pleasure Parties is learning from our customers at our parties so I am also going so share some ideas I have learned from them!

I am also going to share this with my friends who own their own businesses and ask them to comment on my blog and link to their websites and make you special offers to help all of us keep our Romantic Life interesting even as all of our retirments shrink and we watch our portfolios go down down down.

So, let's see how many ideas we can come up with that are either FREE or very affordable.

Let's start with DATE NIGHT. No, it's not spontaneous but who cares. It ends in sex (or atleast spooning) and that's what matters here. When we are super busy with work, kids, family and bills sometimes we need to put a date night on our calendar. We schedule time for play dates for our kids so why not with our partners, too? Date night does not have to be expensive. Some of my customers go out for a quick dinner while the babysitter watches the kids and puts the kids to bed. Then, they drive home, pay the babysitter and then go back out to the car in the garage (bring the baby monitor if you have to) and have a hot make out session and LOUD SEX in the backseat of their car in the garage without fear of waking up the kids. Brings back memories of high school and it's new and different and a nice change of pace.

12 oz frozen limeade

Ingredients:2 oz Gin1/2 oz Triple sec

Fuzzy Hoo Ha Punch
2 firm ripe peaches or a bag of frozen peaches
½ cup peach schnappes
1/3 cup superfine granulated sugar
3 Cups of chilled rose wine (750 ml bottle)
2 cups chilled sparkling water
Stir together the peaches, schnappes, and suger in a large
Pitcher until sugar is dissolved an let stand 1 hour.
Stir in wine, sparkling water and maybe a little ice.
Frozen peaches can work as ice. You can use fresh
Peaches when they are in season.

1 part vodka1 part tequila1 part rum
1 part gin1 part triple sec1 1/2 parts sweet and sour mix
1 splash Coca-Cola®
Mix ingredients together over ice in a glass. Pour into a shaker and give one brisk shake. Pour back into the glass and make sure there is a touch of fizz at the top. Garnish with lemon.

BETTER THAN SEX CHOCOLATE CAKE:
1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. German chocolate cake mix1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips1/2 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk1/2 jar caramel sauce 12 oz. carton frozen whipped topping, thawed 3 Heath bars, crushed
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9x13x2 inch pan. Prepare cake mix as directed on package; pour into prepared pan. After 10 minutes of baking, sprinkle with chocolate chips. Continue baking until cake is done
While cake is still hot, poke holes in it with handle of wooden spoon. Pour sweetened condensed milk over cake; let cool.
Top with caramel sauce, then whipped topping.
Sprinkle with candy bars. 12 to 16 servings

George Clooney and "Burn After Reading"

Co-ed Pleasure Parties and Sex Tips for Men to Create a More Passionate Partner

This past Saturday, I did a super fun co-ed pleasure party for 6 couples in Castro Valley. They were such a fun group and we laughed alot. My life is so "6 Degrees of Separation" sometimes thanks to the parties and owning the store for 2.5 years. And, now getting stranger all the time with all of my new "networking" friends. (By strange, I mean I meet people I have met before and who know each other and there are just all of these connections from my days in high tech, the pleasure parties and my networking groups that remind me how small this world really is.)

eWomen Member of the Year .... now what?

Some of you know I have turned into quite the "networker." I have always been a natural born connector and never really realized there were professional groups "networking" on a daily basis...probably in every city in the country...working to help each other's businesses. I attended my first http://www.ewomennetwork.com/ meeting last June and joined in July. I was blown away by Kristy Rogers and the Networking events she created here in San Jose for all of us South Bay entrepeneurs.

I have shared this with her, but my first meeting, I went alone and I was so "envious" of what she had created and my EGO was getting in the way of me enjoying the event. I was kicking myself in the butt for not thinking of this idea on my own and for not getting involved sooner! I can only imagine where my business would be now if I joined eWomen 3 or 4 years ago. But, as I like to tell the story "I put my EGO aside" and told myself to just enjoy ATTENDING an event for once - not worrying about planning the event. (My friends call me Julie McCoy for a reason...natural born cruise director here. Think really bad 80's tv show and really bad big hair, too.)

So, fast forward a year and somehow I won "Member of the Year" which was a huge surprise to me. I thought we were all voting for my friend and Viva La Diva partner Jen Jaciw, owner of http://www.lonestartransportation.com/ . Jen has helped me and my business in so many ways and everyone loves Jen, so she seemed like the natural winner to me. But, to my surprise, Jen and Julie (owner of http://www.jewelsexpression.com/) orchestrated a few things behing my back and they helped me to get nominated for this award. THANKS DIVAS!! And more importantly, thanks for your friendship! I have two new BFF's at the age of 40. LOVE IT.

Now, I am heading to the eWomen National Conference this week to Dallas, TX. Yes, Dallas in July. Uggg. But I always say I love the heat, so that will be put to the test this coming weekend.
And, with my one year anniversary as an eWN member and the conference coming up, it has me reflecting on my year with eWomen and how it has been such a blessing to me.

Sonya Paz, artist and connector with a beautiful studio and working gallery which has been the home of many fabulous events.

I met Cathy Wong of http://www.championmobilenotary.com/ at an eWN dinner at the Los Gatos Lodge and we realized that the of us had a lot in common even though our industries are so far apart! She and I hit it off and created an eWomen Sub Group called Solopreneur which is designed to help other eWomen Members who have 3 or fewer employees. (We both have this theory that if we have some knowledge, we need to share it with everyone else so we don't have to each reinvent the wheel!)

Gosh, I love love love this book. Every time I talk about this book at a pleasure party I am reminded why I love this book so much. If you do not know Sadie Allison, Google her. She knows her stuff! She is a local author, from Santa Cruz but lives in San Franciscso and she writes the most user friendly books in this crazy industry.

For starters, I own a Pleasure Party business in the Bay Area called http://www.BlissPartiesInc.com/ and I also own an online Romance Store called http://www.BlissConnection.com/ and I end up talking about this book at length about 3 times a week and so do my employees.This book is about giving oral sex to a man, but Sadie includes so much more in this book. Normally, I start off my suggesting to my party guests that one of the highest compliments you can pay to a person is to put their genitals into your mouth. I mean TRULY...it does not get much more intimate then that, does it? It takes alot of attraction and trust to want to give this type of pleasure to your partner. And, I am sure that the reason some married women do not give this type of pleasure after a certain time is that their needs are not being met and perhaps there is some resentment in the relationship....but alas, I am not a counselor. So, let's get to the stuff I do know.For starters, EVERYONE loves enthusiasm when it comes to technique. How to spice up your long term relationship

I was invited by a magazine to submit some ideas for how couples who are in a long term relationship can spice up their romantic life. Here's what I submitted. Most of these are ideas I have received from my customers over the years! But they all sound super fun to me!

Spicy Step 1: This one is simple. Buy some inexpensive GLOW IN THE DARK Erotic Dice or Spicy Dice. Once the lights are out, no more talking. You each get in your mind one CELEBRITY that you find super hot. In my case, it's either LL Cool J or George Clooney depending on my mood. I am pretty sure my partner thinks about Carmen Electra or some other porn star and I am ok with that! It's a way of role playing internally and can be alot of fun. I am fond of saying that if you're not laughing or smiling when you are having sex, you're not doing it right. Sex is FUNNY if you really think about it.

Also, for couples who have been having sex with each other for a long time, it's a great way to get things started in a new and fresh way. When you have sex with the same person for a long time, you can sometimes get in a rut. You sort of find a routine and get stuck in that routine. When you roll the dice, you have to do whatever the dice say. If he rolls the dice and the dice say to start by KISSING YOUR TOES then he has to follow the rules and kiss your toes!

Spicy Step 2: Buy a fun book like "101 Nights to Great Sex" or one of those other books that have fun ideas for couples. "101 Nights to Great Sex" has these cool envelopes for each night. You open the envelope together and have to do whatever the envelope says. Some of the fun envelopes have you go places, wear certain clothes, buy small items, take a drive. For example, one envelope that I thought was very cool was to go to a restaurant with table cloths and sit in a booth together. Preferrably one that is somewhat expensive so it's unlikely to have screaming kids around. Then, when no one is looking do something only teenagers do...discreetly touch your partner in a sexual way through his pants.

For the female partner, wear a skirt on the short side so your partner can touch your upper thigh when no one is looking. Very exciting but not something adults will do without having permission to be so naughty. By opening the envelopes and following the directions, it gives each partner a bit of permission to try something naughty. This helps get each partner's blood pumping and builds anticipation which is one of those things that tend to wane when you've been intimate with the same person for a long time.

Spice Step 3: Role playing is a fun way to spice things up, but many couples are worried about being embarassed or creating alot of work. So I suggest you keep it very simple. No need for costumes or elaborate props. Just put some of the "classic" fantasies on a piece of paper and put them in a baggie or a hat to draw one out. Some examples of the typical fantasies are: A. College Professor/Student (both can play the professor)
B. Cheerleader / Jock
C. Librarian / Student
D. Police man or police woman / "perp"
E. Escort / Customer
F. Massage Therapist / Client
G. Doctor / Nurse or Patient
J. Sex Slave / Domme or Domina

No matter which one you pull out of the hat, you do it even if you do not have a Naughty Nurse costume! Just pretend. If you do have some costumes or props, by all means. But, it might be a good idea to baby step into this. You have to agree ahead of time that you are both going to play your role for a 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, you check in with each other to make sure it's going ok. If it's a yes, then keep going for another 20 minutes. Before you know it, you might really get into it. If you enjoyed it, put it back into the hat for a repeat performance.

Spicy Tip 4: "Window Shop" Shop online together for some adult products. No need to buy just yet, but set aside some time to browse an online store together. That in and of itself can be very revealing and will turn you both on. Look through the products and see which one's intrigue the other partner. Educate yourself about the toys and how they work. You can buy them that night or make a mental note and go buy them at a local store later to surprise your partner. Imagine coming home from a long day of work to find a new special purchase your partner made for you on his lunch hour that day! The sparks will fly.

Spicy Tip 5: Make time to MAKE OUT. I have got into great detail about this in my blog I wrote about the Science of Kissing. Kissing and making out really get women worked up. It affects us on a chemical level and when we are kissed for more then 30 seconds at a time, we get very aroused. Married couples and couples in long term hetero relationships often site this as an activity that they rarely do. Making out makes women more enthusiastic lovers and are also more responsive orgasmically. Kissing helps women to self lubricate and it really gets our engines going. Foreplay is the key to really great and orgasmic sex. But when we have sex with the same person for a long time, we tend to get right to the point and bypass the more sensual aspects of making love.

Mmmmmmmmmmm who doesn't love to kiss and make out, right? Guys, here's two simple pieces of advice for you that will make your life so much easier FOREVER! First of all, sincere flattery will get you everywhere. Secondly, the best way to get your girl turned on is to kiss her!

Some interesting facts about the Rabbits

Bliss raises $750 for N.A.M.I. in Q4 2007

Thank you to everyone who made donations to the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the National Association of the Mentally Ill. Some of you made actual donations via their website and others of you helped by making a purchase on our website or at our pleasure parties. Others of you made donations directly in honor of my sister, Thumper, too.

As you may know, I lost my sister on Sept. 14th this past year at the age of 37. Thankfully, she passed away in her sleep and according to my parents, she looked very peaceful when they found her in her bedroom in their home. My sister suffered through most of her 20's and 30's with Bipolar I disorder and was tormented by this awful disease. Strangely, though, she died of complications from an enlarged heart - a disease called Cardiomegaly. We are not sure if they are related or not.

It's amazing to me how widespread mental health issues are and I find the more I talk about my experiences with my sister, the more comfortable people are sharing with me about their own family experiences with Depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, and other Mental Health diseases. I hope one day while I am still alive, we will see the stigma of mental health issues erased. When you hear someone has Depression or is Schizophrenic, you should treat them just like someone you know who has cancer, MS, or Lupus. It's a disease of the mind - that is the only difference.

In some cases, people are born with these mental health issues. And in other cases, it can be brought on by mental/physical abuse and in some cases from doing too many drugs or even from severe alcohol abuse. Either way, they deserve the same empathy from those of us lucky enough to not suffer from the same disorder.

My sister's birthday is Valentine's Day. She would have been 38 this year. It turns out that my birthday is the 13th. Just one day before her birthday. I am going to spend our birthdays with my family in Vegas and celebrate my sister and her legacy, Tyler Wayne. Her proudest accomplishment - is no doubt her amazingly sweet and smart son, Tyler. I have included a picture of the three of in this post taken in April 2007. This picture was taken the last time I set eyes on my sisters gorgeous eyes and her perfect heart shaped lips. I miss her every day of my life, but I also take some comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering from all of the horrible quirks of her Bipolar disorder.

Thanks again to each of you and we will continue to make N.A.M.I. our favorite charity and we will continue to donate 5% of every purchase through our website and at our home parties to NAMI. They do great work and help to educate people all over the world about Mental Illness.

Happy New Year and what a year it was! We have our fingers crossed here at Bliss that this year will be much less stressful and tragic. We had some real tragedies in 2007 but somehow we were still able to punctuate it with some bright spots, too.

We co hosted a Day of Decadence with Carol from Sedusa Studios and we had 26 women owned businesses at our mini trade show and it was a huge hit. It's been an amazing eye opener to me and I am fast becoming a Networking expert.

Knock You Nekkid Recipe: Naughty Cocktail

Here is one of my favorite "Naughty Cocktails" that makes a perfect drink for the parties plus you can build a whole theme around this cocktail. I learned this recipe from one of my hostesses and we will just call her "Y" in Cambrian. She is one of my neighbors practically.

Ok, so here is the recipe:

First, take one can of frozen limeade. Preferrably a 12oz can.

Pour the frozen limeade into a glass pitcher and then use the

empty can and fill it up with 12 oz of tequila. Then pour that into the pitcher.

Fill the can up again with 12 oz of 7-UP. Pour that into the pitcher.

Last but not least, take a 12 oz Corona and pur that into the pitcher.

Stir it vigorously and then serve like a martini or like a SUPER CHARGED

MARGARITA with a salt rim.

TO review:

12 oz frozen limeade

12 oz of tequila

12 oz of 7-Up

12 oz Corona Beer

Stir together in a glass pitcher and serve chilled.

Yummyyyyyy and it just mayKNOCK YOU NAKED!

Happy birthday to us. Today is our 1 year anniversary in business.

Here are some of the myths and questions that I am frequently asked about when customers want to know which of the rabbit style toys is right for them. Some of them may sound a little crude or silly, but they are REAL questions from REAL people:

1.W: Once I own a rabbit, will my husband or boyfriend still be able to please me?

2.W: Will my husband or boyfriend feel like he is being replaced?

3.M: If I buy this toy for my wife/girlfriend will I still be able to please her?

4.M: Will my wife/girlfriend be “stretched” vaginally by this toy?

6.W: Will I still be able to have an orgasm without this toy?

So, now you’re asking yourself, how do I decide which multi functional rabbit type toy is right for you. Ask yourself the following questions:

1. Do I plan to use the toy more often alone or with a partner? If you answered alone, you may prefer the types of toys that have a battery pack and a wire so you can keep the controller near you where you can adjust the speeds and other functionality more easily. (Suggestion: Original Rabbit Pearl or the Jack Rabbit) If you plan to use it more often with someone else, you may prefer to go the wireless route. My theory for why women prefer girth is due the concentration of nerve endings that are situated at the opening and bottom third of the vagina. With girth, we feel more at the opening and at the bottom third because the thickness is touching and stimulating all of those nerve endings. (Suggestion for girth: Pearl Thunder or Krystal Wabbit.) The top two thirds of the vagina have very few nerve endings and there is not a lot of sensation up at the top, closer to our cervix. However, some girls like longer toys – more than 5” insertable. Many women find anything over 5” insertable a bit uncomfortable. (Suggestion for average to longer toys: Eager Beaver, Original Pearl Rabbit, Jack Rabbit, and Rabbit Habit.)

4. Will I find the rotation of the beads or pearls distracting or pleasurable? This is a critical decision point for many women and especially for men trying to buy these toys for their female partners. What I most often tell customers is that if you’re the type of girl who has to think about your orgasm and have to spend some energy getting your brain to catch up with your body, you may prefer the toys without the rotating pearls or beads. (NOTE: almost all of the toys with the rotation function allow you to turn that part off if you find you don’t like it.) Some women have told me that the rotation distracts them and that slows down their ability to have an orgasm. Now, if you’re a girl that does not have to think about your orgasm much, you will more then likely find that third sensation of the rotating beads or pearls highly pleasurable and it will enhance your orgasm. Well, of course we do. Why cock rings are great for girls!

We talk about this alot at the Pleasure Parties, so I thought I would finally put it in writing. Girls ask all of the time "how do those work?" There seems to be alot of curiosity around cock rings currently, so let's talk HOW and WHY. Why are they great for girls and how do we use them correctly.
